When is the test

The Test in Norwegian C1 is held twice a year, summer and winter.

Next registration period

The registration opens on Monday the 13th of April at 9:00 and closes on Friday the 17th of April at 23:59.

Next test

The next Test in Norwegian C1 will be held the 1st and 2nd of June. Registration period for the C1 Summer test is from 13th at 9 am to 17th of April at 11:59 pm.

Upcoming tests

Below you will see an overview of the upcoming Norwegian language tests at level C1 in 2026, with dates for registration, execution, results and appeals.

Not all test centres offer tests in all the periods indicated in the overview. You need to go to your municipality's (kommune) website to find out when you can take the test.

Special adaptations

The test can be adapted or accommodated in various ways. Accommodations could include, for example, extra time or being allowed to sit in a separate room when taking the test.

You must contact your test centre as soon as possible, and no later than three days after registering for the test.
